Kriya Yoga: Tapasya, Svadhyaya and Isvara Pranidhana

Kriya Yoga includes three essential steps as described by Patanjali Maharishi. The first step is tapasya or austerity, the second is svadhyaya or the study of the self, and third, isvara pranidhana, surrender to God, to the whole, that is enlightenment.
