What kind of state of being is it? Christians thank God before they eat; Jews thank God for returning their soul after the night’s sleep, what do they do? They say thank you. This is the highest form of prayer. Why is the highest level of prayer to say "thank you" and the lowest is to ask for things? It is because we talk about a state of being, and when your state of being is of needing something, it implies that you don't have everything. Existence gave you everything in this moment, everything you need but you feel that something is missing.Everything that you need in order to be enlightened
If you want enlightenment then existence gave you everything that you need in order to be enlightened, but if you want something else it means that your state of being is of lacking, something is needed.
